All Good
Quick verdict: All Good started as one person making herbal salve in 1998 and grew into a woman-owned B Corp that now makes some of the better-blending mineral sunscreen on the shelf. It’s Climate Neutral certified, the ingredients are organic and short-listed, and it’s cheap. Like every non-nano zinc formula it leaves a cast, and the range is narrower than the big sun-care brands. Our rating: 4.3 out of 5.
Who they are
Caroline Duell had been making herbal medicines since 1995 and formulated the original All Good Goop in 1998. It became a business in 2005, trading as Elemental Herbs, and it’s still independent and woman-owned from Morro Bay, California.
The company grows or sources organic herbs for the balms, which is where the brand started and still the part it does best.
